Everything we carry

Anonymous visit counts covering which notes get opened, the rough part of the country a visit came from and the kind of device used. Plus any message you send along with the address it came from, retained so that a reply can go back. There is no third item and there never has been.

Never requested

Card details, bank information, passports, licences, casino usernames or passwords. We have no way to use any of it and no wish to be the keeper of it. If anything claiming to come from this site asks for those, it did not come from us.

Why we bother

Visit counts decide which trails get walked again first, because the schedule ought to follow what readers are weighing rather than what we find interesting. Messages are kept so a conversation outlives a single reply. No profile is assembled and no record has ever been sold, rented or traded.

Where else it goes

To the analytics service under its own policy, and to whichever operator you reach through an outbound link, which starts collecting under its own notice the instant you arrive. Neither sends reader-level information back to us, and we would decline it if they tried.

Asking us to act

Ask what sits against your address and we will say. Ask for it to be erased and it is erased, without a form or an explanation. Ask us to stop writing and we stop. Tracking choices live in your browser and on the cookie page.
